STONEHILL COLLEGE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Description of Available Services
-The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free service, provided through Stonehill College, that offers counseling and additional support services to employees. The program is voluntary, and the information that is provided by the employees who utilize the program is kept completely confidential.
-Employees are eligible to up to three (3) sessions of short term counseling per year/per presenting problem with a licensed professional. To ensure that employees can easily access these services, we connect students with professionals that are located in close proximity to the workplace or employee's home. Employees can utilize the counseling sessions to address a number of problems, including but not limited to:
- family and relationship issues,
- anxiety,
- depression,
- stress
- balancing work/life responsibilities
-The Employee Assistance Program provides 24/7 access to telephonic support with a live clinician by dialing 1-800-828-6025. Employees can also utilize this 24-hour service to obtain more information about the services available to them through the Employee Assistance Program.
- Through the EAP, employees are entitled to 30 minutes of free telephonic counseling on any legal matter.
-The Employee Assistance Program, in partnership with the American Consumer Credit Counseling offers assistance for employees struggling with budget, debt, and credit issues. Employees can utilize this service for questions related to:
- money management
- budgeting, credit consolidation,
- financial health checkups
- collection problems
-Through the Employee Assistance Program, employees are eligible for targeted and qualified professional searches in their area for information, resources, and referrals to providers regarding a wide range of life/balance related topics and needs, including but not limited to: Adoption, Childcare, Parenting, Adult Care and Eldercare.
-Stonehill College employees, as part of the EAP, have access to the New Parent Transition Program, an intensive telephonic coaching program that provides support, guidance and strategies to empower new mothers and fathers with balancing school, work, parenting, and other competing demands.
